‘Way too much for a bath’ Mum shares EPIC setup for her kid’s bathtime, but is immediately slammed for ‘overkill’
A MUM has been criticised for her “overkill” after sharing the lengths she goes to for her daughter’s bathtime.
Micah took to TikTok to share a video of her decking out the bathroom ready for her little girl, as she went all out with pool noodle DIY.
Firstly, she cut up some pink pool noodles and attached them to the wall with tape, with funnels at the top – for her daughter to pour water through.
She then cut another noodle into even smaller pieces, and wrote a letter on each one – so that her little girl could make words with them.
Next up, Micah used toothpicks to connect some of the smaller pieces of pool noodle together, to make a scientific looking creation.
She added pink colour fizzers to the water, as well as a crab with bubble coming out of its mouth and several smaller bath toys chucked in.
She put an ice-cream shaped bath bomb on the side for her daughter to throw in, and added a swimming penguin into the bath.
Micah concluded the setup by adding floating LED lights in the bath, and a disco ball light on the cabinet.
She then showed how the bath looked when it was finished, as well as how it looked when the lights were switched off.
Over the top of her video, Micah wrote: “POV: You’re a mama who loves to make magical moments”.
The comments section was almost immediately filled with people weighing in on Micah’s creation – some of whom loved it, while others weren’t quite so keen.
“Too much for one bath!” one raged.
“Spoiled,” another said.
As a third agreed, writing: “Way too much for a bath lol!”
“This is overkill,” someone else commented.
“No bath bombs, electrical too close and heck no to toothpicks!!!!” another said, pointing out the safety issues.
“VERY confused by this,” someone else said.
However, others insisted the bath was incredible.
“She’ll love it!! Omg,” one wrote.
To which Micah replied: “She was in the bath for an hour, refused to come out!”
“Now that’s cool,” another added.
“This would be magical,” a third said.
As someone else wrote: “Wow!! This is beyond extraordinary!
“I love your imagination for your daughter.”
