New Married At First Sight feud as exes unfollow each other months after TV split and cryptic swipes
A FAN-FAVOURITE Married At First Sight star has unfollowed her former partner after a series of bitter swipes.
And it appears the Essex groom has returned the favour, with no mention of his show ex in his Instagram following list.
JJ Slater, 31, and Ella Morgan, 29 – who ruffled feathers when they cheated on their MAFS partners to find romance last season – have been filling social media with catty swipes for weeks.
It comes after the clothes brand founder made his romance with ex glamour model Katie Price, 45, official.
Ella seemingly took a cryptic swipe at JJ when he captured the pair snogging on a recent ski tip.
In a story on Instagram, Ella shared a cutting quote that read: “You remained genuine in a world obsessed with facades. That’s strength.”
She also took a savage dig at JJ in a recent video – yet with the pair unfollowing each other, the trading of blows may come to a halt.
A source close to Ella, who has used her platform to flag for trans rights, told us: “Ella wants to draw a line under the situation with JJ.
“She hasn’t spoken to him for a while and, after recent bitterness, is eager to focus on herself and her work and move on.
“While she isn’t jealous of his romance with Katie, she doesn’t need to see it plastered all over her socials either.”
Ella was said to have been furious after discovering Katie’s connection with JJ, accusing her of breaking girl code.
She was left blindsided by their relationship news after she grew close to Katie.
Yet in a sign she is moving on, this week she revealed a new brunette hairstyle and – in a potential dig at Katie – how she was going for a more natural, filler free look.
Her MAFS BFF Jay Howard also told us of her pal’s mindset during the tough time.
She claimed that Ella no longer speaks to her ex-partner and that she is “well and truly over” JJ.
Jay told The Sun: “She doesn’t really speak to him anymore.
“But you have to remember that it was filmed at the beginning of November so she was upset [about their relationship ending] at the time.
“She’s well and truly over JJ, I can confirm that. She hasn’t really got much to say about the matter to be fair.
“I know that she’s done with JJ but it’s unfair for people to say that she’s upset or jealous of JJ’s relationship with Katie because she’s not.”
