Reece helps earn a point on his debut
REECE TRUEMAN kept a clean sheet on his debut, but the Seagulls couldn’t force a goal to claim the three points in a 0-0 home draw against Haverfordwest County.
Visiting keeper Zac Jones made three or four great saves in the first half to keep his side in the game and despite a much improved performance by the Bay, they couldn’t find a way past him.
Matty Hill was twice denied by the keeper, who also made a double save to deny Dan Atkins and Udi Akpan to keep the game goalless at half-time.
In the second half Udi Akpan fired a long range shot just wide and and Jamie Cummings was inches wide with a right foot volley from the edge of the area. Tom Creamer was also wide with a shot after lining up well with Dan Jones, while Reece Trueman saved a Lee Jenkins header and kept out an effort from substitute Martell as the game petered out in a stalemate.
