He also reiterated his commitment and determination to achieve productive and sustainable achievements in the sporting history of Lagos State.
In his words, “We need more coordination, direction and support across the board to have sustainable and realistic Sports development in Lagos State. We are determined to grow raw talents who we can nurture into future stars who will win laurels for Lagos State, Nigeria and on the global stage. Mr. Governor is devoting so much in terms of human and material resources to ensure greater development within our sporting ecosystem”.
“As such, there should be a focus not just on their growth; we must also focus on retaining these talents. We can use our capacity and ability to either export these talents for our economic growth or for more attention in terms of entertainment or changing the perspective generally in terms of what Lagos is contributing to the pool”, he added.
While commending the roles of the Chairmen of Associations in driving the wheel of sports development in Lagos State, Fatodu assured them that it will be a season of glory in different ways, from the perspective of improved welfare for Athletes and robust support for Sporting Associations.
