FAYETTEVILLE – The Arkansas women’s basketball team (18-12, 6-9 SEC) is looking to snap their three-game losing skid and finish the regular season with a win, as the Hogs head to Oxford, Mississippi to face Ole Miss (21-7, 11-4 SEC) on Sunday. The game will tipoff at 3 p.m. on SEC Network at SJB Pavilion.

Arkansas is looking to get win No. 19, seventh in SEC, as well as a bye on Wednesday of the SEC Tournament
Ole Miss has won three straight against the Hogs, and enter Sunday’s game 21-7 with a lock for the three-seed of the conference tournament
Taliah Scott leads the Hogs in scoring with 22.1 points per game, and is the only player in the SEC to average 20.0+ points per game
Saylor Poffenbarger is one of the top defensive rebounders in the country. She leads the SEC in defensive rebounds/game (9.6) and is second in rebounds/game (11.4), which are second and seventh in the NCAA. She has pulled down 331 boards, which surpasses the total she had all season as a redshirt freshman in 2022-23 (255). Her 53 3-pointers is tied for the most on the team
Samara Spencer leads the team with 107 assists. Her 357 career assists is No. 11 on the career list and her 1,333 points is No. 18 on the all-time scoring list
Maryam Dauda has made a big jump this season, pacing the team with 71 blocks, which is third in the league (2.4 per game), and her 2.8 blocks per game in SEC contests paces the league. She is No. 3 on the individual season block list at Arkansas
Makayla Daniels is an elite defender and leads the team with 49 steals and is tied for a team’s most 53 3-pointers made. She is the highest scoring point guard in school history with 1,821 points, making her a top five scorer in school history, while holding a program’s most starts and games played records with 152, as well as career minutes (4,482). Daniels was selected on the All-SEC Preseason Second Team, as chosen by the league’s coaches
The Hogs lead the league in 3-pointers per game (9.1), which is 12th in the NCAA, 3-point attempts per game (30.1), a number that is third in the country, as well as turnovers per game (12.6), 19th in the country
SCOUTING OLE MISS
Ole Miss is 21-7 and 11-4 in SEC play
In the SEC Preseason Polls, Ole Miss was picked to finish fourth in both the media and coaches after finishing the 2022-23 season 25-9 with an 11-5 mark and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16
Madison Scott was tabbed to the All-SEC Preseason Team, first by the coaches and second by the media. Last season, she averaged 11.6 points per game and a team-leading 8.0 rebounds per game with 72 assists, 36 steals and 31 blocks
Former Hog Marquesha Davis leads Ole Miss with 13.8 points per game and 40 total steals
Rebounding is well distributed across the lineup with Scott and Rita Igbokwe leading the way with 5.9 boards per game. Scott also leads the team with 89 assists and Igbokwe has a team’s most 48 blocks
Head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin just achieved win No. 100 at Ole Miss on Thursday in her sixth season at the helm. McPhee-McCuin is coming off leading Ole Miss to the Rebels’ 11th NCAA Sweet 16 after the Rebels defeated No. 1 Stanford in the second round (W, 54-49)
