Gary Goldsmith reveals Ekin-Su’s ‘game plan’ as he hits out at Celebrity Big Brother co-star on Late and Live
GARY Goldsmith hit out at Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu as he insisted his former Celebrity Big Brother housemate is playing a game.
On Friday Gary, 59, became the first Celebrity Big Brother star to be evicted this series.
Appearing on Late and Live last night, he was asked by host Will Best if he thought Ekin-Su, 29, is playing a game.
Gary – the uncle of the Princess of Wales – replied: “100% – it’s a very unusual dynamic.
“But if you want to win the show, and win it as a game, you have to play it as a game. Ekin-Su’s got so much more experience than most people of doing that and she’s doing it brilliantly.”
“It’s a game, so all credit to her for doing what she’s doing. It’s all about getting airtime, saying the right things to the right people, getting people onside. It’s being that magnet that people are drawn to.”
But fans have been rushing to former Love Island champ Ekin-Su’s defence, insisting she’s getting a “villain edit” from bosses.
Sharing their thoughts on Reddit, many viewers claimed they’ve seen the “real Ekin” on the show’s overnight live feed.
One wrote: “Watching the live makes me realise that they’re definitely giving Ekin Su a villain edit on the show.”
“The lives show her mixing with the younger crowd and being carefree, being goofy, actively helping out in the kitchen everyday and being hands on.”
“Levi, Lauren and Louis have praised her and it sucks that she’s getting a narrative based off the main show which isn’t true to what’s being shown on the live.”
Another added: “It’s so weird like why do they have it out for her so intensely?
“She’s literally goofing around with all the [housemates] who seem to love her so wtf?”
