The Supreme Court rejected Maharashtra government's request for a stay on the acquittal of G N Saibaba and others in the Maoist links case. The court admitted the government's appeal against the well-reasoned Bombay High Court order by BHC. Saibaba was wheelchair-bound and lodged in Nagpur Central Jail since his arrest in 2014.
