Warm and breezy conditions to start the week

**RED FLAG WARNING** - In effect for the northern half of the area from 1:00pm-7:00pm this afternoon.

Dry weather continues as we start off this week. We'll also see some breezy conditions, as well. Winds will be out of the south about 15-20 mph and could gust up to 30 mph. This brings a concern for some very high fire danger on Monday afternoon, especially in the northwestern corner of the area.

Highs today should make it into the lower 70s thanks to that south wind and our sunshine, and tomorrow we'll likely make it into the lower 70s, too before a weak front arrives. Mostly, this front will just briefly shift our winds to the north and west. A better chance for showers and storms exists to our east, but can't rule out an isolated evening storm in our far eastern counties Tuesday.

Winds shift back to the south and increase again for Wednesday. So, highs will likely make it back up into the middle to upper 70s ahead of our next slight chance for showers and storms. That looks to arrive by late Wednesday and into early Thursday morning.

Behind that system, we do get a bit cooler to end the week and start the weekend. Highs for Thursday and Friday will likely drop into the lower 60s. Yet another system tries to move in for the weekend, though, and that will drop temperatures even further into the middle 50s and bring another slight chance for rain late Saturday and into Sunday.
