Run to Home Bargains, I found a £22 face serum for just £1.79, £30 Body Shop cream for £3.99 & a cult fake fan for £1.99
WINTER can take a toll on your skin, leaving you feeling dry and pale.
But with spring right around the corner, many will be hoping to find some affordable products to help them achieve that pre-summer glow ready for the longer days ahead.
After recovering from an operation to remove two bone tumours in her leg, This Morning’s host, Holly Jay-smith, is back to help us all spot the best money saving bargains.
For the first time since October, the well-loved Coupon Queen picks up her vlogging camera to take her subscribers on a shop around Home Bargains.
Making her comeback Holly explains: “This feels a little bit strange because I haven’t picked up a vlogging camera since October.
“If you don’t follow me on Instagram you probably won’t know that I had a bone tumour in my left leg.”
Since her operation Holly admits: “I’ve just been in recovery, and it’s still very painful but I’m now allowed to drive now but I haven’t really been out much, and I’m really missing the bargain stores.”
The TV presenter shared her first trip to Home bargains since her operation in a clip on YouTube, and you’ll be in awe of the beauty bargains she found.
Everybody knows, if you want any beauty products made by a cult-favourites like the Inkey List, be prepared to pay more. But not this time, as this famous bargain hunter spots the high end face serum for just £1.79.
Selfless is a pore cleansing serum created by TikTok’s skin care mogul and content creator Hyram Yarbro. Powered by The Inkey List, it is marketed at a retail price of £22. But this mum of three saved herself a whopping £20.21 by shopping at Home Bargains.
But that’s not all, her subscribers were thrilled with what she found next.
If you’re feeling rather pale, and hoping to build up a fake tan in time for spring, then you can nab yourself a Bondi Sands Tan for under a fiver.
Sifting through the tanning products, Holly spotted the cult brand Bondi Sands famous tanning creams, mists and mouses, all for under £5.
The Home Bargains tanning aisle even included the Bondi Sands self-tanning drops for just £1.99, saving you £13 on their original retail price.
Last but not least, if you’re a fan of The Body Shop and were hung up about the news of their recent store closures, you’ll be pleased to know Home Bargains stock a few of their products, including the Body Shop day time cream.
The Body Shop’s Edelweiss Smoothing Day Cream is sold at a retail price of £30, but Holly spotted it for just £3.99.
Thrilled with the bargains and having missed her online presence, Holly’s subscribers gave her a warm welcome back.
One commented saying: “Lovely to have you back, so glad you are up & about. You look stunning.”
While another said: “Welcome back, Holly. I’m glad to hear you’re feeling better and recovering.”
