Charlie Kirk lays into 'C-level replacement actress' Katie Britt: 'It was a mockery'
Right-wing host Charlie Kirk blasted Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) for her response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union address.
On his Monday podcast, Kirk joined other Republicans who were unhappy with Britt's speech.
"There's been a lot said in the last couple of days of how do we win over suburban women," he explained. "The Katie Britt attempt at her State of the Union response was well-intentioned."
"They decided, hey, let's go put Katie Britt in a kitchen and have her act as if she's a C-level replacement actress for a Netflix special," he continued. "If you look at Katie Britt, actually, how she talks and how Katie Britt spoke on camera, it was a mockery. And in fact, SNL made a mockery of the entire deal."

Minutes later, Kirk continued to express outrage at Britt after he returned from a commercial break.
"You want to talk about kitchen table issues?" he asked. "Kitchen table issues is not Katie Britt fake acting, where she doesn't even mention Trump's name. And again, there's a clip here that contrasts how she actually talks versus how she talked."
"This is Super Bowl. It's either you make the field goal, or you don't. And she missed," he added. "If she would have spoke how she actually speaks as a human being, I think it would have been a home run. She should have fired the people around her that wrote her speech."
