Suspect arrested after Scappoose double homicide

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- One person is in custody after a Sunday night double homicide in Scappoose, authorities said.

According to Scappoose police, officers responded to the area of Southwest Linden Street and Southwest Sequoia Street where they secured the scene of the double homicide.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and there isn't any danger to the public officials said.
