GMB in chaos as Coronation Street star’s phone goes off live on air as Colson Smith’s castmates reveal why he’ll win CBB
GOOD Morning Britain was thrown into chaos today as Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price appeared to discuss their Coronation Street co-star Colson Smith.
Colson, 25, is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house and his fellow Corrie stars Jack, 36, and Ben, 51, sat down with GMB‘s Susanna Reid and Ed Balls to reveal why they think he’ll win the show.
But during the interview Jack – who stars in the ITV soap as David Platt – received a telling off from Susanna, 53, when his phone started going off.
She asked: “Is that your phone?” Jack replied: “It’s my alarm to wake up.”
Susanna jokingly added: “What a lovely alarm.”
During last night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother Colson, who plays PC Craig Tinker in Corrie, broke down in tears after being branded “boring” by Levi Roots.
In a game of jelly bean roulette Levi, 65, was asked to pick his most boring housemate.
He said: “If I was going to pick one, it would have been pre yesterday, I would’ve said it would’ve been Colson…”
Shortly afterwards the actor took himself off to the toilet to let all of his emotions out.
But Jack and Ben think showing his emotional side may have worked in Craig’s favour and will help him win the show.
When asked if they think Craig will go all the way, Ben replied: “He is now, I think.”
Jack added: “Now he’s got the minutes of him crying on television IU think he’s certainly up there.” Ben later said: “He’s a good guy, he’s a nice guy.”
