I’m a 34G & tried SO many boob tapes for my wedding day – I eventually found a winner that lasted through my sweating
IT’S arguably the biggest day of your life – when you want to feel elegant, sexy and most of all, secure.
And that can be a difficult ask if you’ve got bigger boobs.
One woman took to Reddit to admit she’d searched high and low for the perfect boob tape to wear under her plunging wedding dress – trying numerous different brands.
Posting her “34G boob tape success story”, she raved about the Good Lines tape.
“I danced, sweated, celebrated, felt comfortably supported and lifted through it all,” she said.
“Searched forever on this Reddit and elsewhere for ideas, bought and returned Misses Kisses, bought Amazon sticky boobs things, thought nothing would work.”
She also shared pictures of herself with her taped boobs, as well as showing what her wedding dress looked like on her big day.
People were quick to comment on the post, and ask questions, with one writing: “Did it hurt? Did you use nipple covers to protect them?”
“It took some practice to find where and how to place it so that it was comfortable,” the bride replied.
“And yes, I used the nipple covers they sell.
“Ultimately I forgot it was even there and it felt soooo much better than a strapless slipping down or some crazy contraption that requires constant adjustment.
“We had a silent disco at my wedding and we were dancing like crazy people all night and I never worried about my boobs bouncing around or falling out and the tape never needed any adjustments once I got it on.”
“Great to hear, I’m 32G and actually just ordered some of these today!” another commented.
“The seamstress that did my dress alterations recommended the brand after hearing good things from lots of brides.
“Not for my wedding dress since it’s strapless, but I’m excited to try it out for other backless dresses and rompers that were previously not accessible to me.”
“Yay! Glad it worked for you,” a third wrote.
“I went through so many different types and thought I had found the right tape for the big day and then it was 42°C on our wedding day and there was no chance for anything to stick.
“I was a sweaty mess. A very happy sweaty mess despite it all though!”
“Whew, that sounds brutal,” the bride responded.
“If you could have gotten dried off long enough to apply this stuff, i truly think it would have stuck!
“Once it’s on, it’s on! They say you can use it with a swimsuit!”
“How many times did you practice to make sure your boobs were even?” someone else questioned.
“I’m worried about getting everything on and symmetrical!”
“I practiced twice over a few months and spent time reading everything on their website and watching their tutorials,” she replied.
“Obviously since my dress was blousy at the top it was pretty forgiving, but I felt confident I could do it on my wedding day.
Once it’s on, it’s on!
Reddit bride
“I did make sure I had plenty of time to apply it on my wedding day in case I needed to adjust it or whatever.”
While another person, who is a 30HH, asked if the tape would “actually work and lift a bit for real?”
“Yes, it won’t be like a push up bra, and it will take practice to get it right,” the bride replied.
“But it will provide some lift, containment, and support, without adding extra volume.
“It’s a lot of work to remove, but it was a miracle of a solution for me.
“I’ve used it at several events since!”
