Glastonbury 2024 fans brand line up ‘worst one yet’ and threaten to BOYCOTT festival after line up is announced
GLASTONBURY fans have branded this year’s line up the ‘worst one yet’ while threatening to boycott the festival.
After months of speculation, the three headlining acts set to entertain the masses at Worthy Farm were revealed this morning.
Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA will be performing on the Pyramid Stage, while Shania Twain has been booked for the coveted Legends Stage.
And while the news has gone down a treat with many, some have expressed their disappointment on social media.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fumed, “That’s the worst Glastonbury lineup of all time. Oh my god.”
Someone else added, “Another traditional festival gone to the swamps. Horrendous.”
A third chimed in with, “Might be the worst Glastonbury line up I’ve ever seen.”
While a fourth agreed, “Worst line up I’ve ever seen, by miles in fact.”
One more joked, “Every passing year this looks more & more like Chelmsford V Festival.”
Festival bosses shared the first look at the acts performing this morning and wrote: “Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2024 line-up poster. Many more acts and attractions still to be announced.”
Canadian singer Shania, known for hits including Man I Feel Like A Woman, You’re Still The One and That Don’t Impress Me Much, will perform on the Pyramid Stage at the Worthy Farm festival in Somerset which is being held from June 26 to 30.
The five-time Grammy-award winner has sold more than 100 million records in her career, making her one of the most successful musicians.
Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis previously revealed she had booked a major female artist for the coveted Sunday afternoon legends’ slot.
SZA, whose real name is Solana Imani Rowe, is an R&B singer.
The musician featured on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning album To Pimp A Butterfly in 2015 before finding wider fame after the success of her own debut album CTRL in 2017.
