Inside Amanda Holden’s messy £7 million mansion with boxes covering the floor and more board games than you can count
AMANDA Holden recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her new £7 million home – but the downstairs floor was flooded with an “overwhelming” mess.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 53, moved into the new pad in December last year but still hasn’t finished unpacking her boxes.
So, she enlisted the help of The Style Sisters, Charlotte Reddington and Gemma Lilly, who organise and “detox” celebrity homes for a living.
Despite rumours she was relocating to the States, Amanda moved to “Britain’s Beverly Hills” instead.
She is now settled in the sought after village of Cobham, Surrey, after flogging her giant house in south west London for a cool £5 million.
Yesterday, The Style Sisters undertook “operation unboxing and detoxing” – and urged people not to be alarmed by the “overwhelming” mess in Amanda’s grand hallway.
She is having custom cupboards built in by Hammonds next week, so The Style Sisters focused on organising the downstairs office-turned-playroom.
The duo took to Instagram stories to show themselves unpacking Amanda’s moving boxes stuffed with toys, board games and paperwork.
They described the mess, including cardboard mountains and belongings categorised into tall piles, as “organised chaos”.
“It looks worse than it actually is,” they assured.
Amanda later helped the pair “detox” her belongings, decided what deserved a place in her new home and what was destined for the bin.
The Holden family’s new high-class district has been home to everyone from Elton John and Ronnie Wood to Andy Murray and Kate Winslet.
Back in February, the BGT host invited pals over to her new London house to officially open her new dining room – after she forked out thousands on giving it a makeover.
“We’ve refurbed the dining room and we had some friends over and I wanted it to feel like a restaurant so I put a piece of ribbon across the door and I got Alan Carr to cut the ribbon,” she said at the time.
“The reviews were brilliant but then Ashley Roberts made up a little dance routine to Beyonce’s current No 1 which is very country.
“We did this whole dance routine to it.
“The dancing happened before the dinner and we were two margaritas in at that point.
“Saturday was a write off and I didn’t get out of my pyjamas.”
As well as her high-profile role on BGT, she’s also a DJ on Heart radio and is making other TV shows, including her travelogue with comedian pal Alan on the BBC.
She also enjoys lucrative deals with brands including fashion retailer Lipsy, reportedly making more than £1 million in a year from selling her homeware range on TV shopping channel QVC.
