Team for next season

May be a bit premature as it depends what league we are in. This is our squad depth for next season based on each players best/most likely position they will play in. I only wanted to include senior players or players that genuinely will get some game time next year.

RB - Laird
CB - Sanderson, Bielik
LB - Buchanan, Longelo
CM - Paik, Chang, James
AM - Pritchard, Roberts, Hall
LW - Dembele, Bacuna
RW - Miyoshi
ST -

James will more than likely be off, but you could also say Dozzell is quite likely to sign too but that doesn't affect the CM too much as it's a straight swap. The only loan player we would want to sign is Drameh but I think he will want to be a guaranteed starter somewhere, so will leave.

That is frighteningly bare and unbalanced. You could even argue Bacuna, James and Miyoshi are all best in AM however they seem to get most of their game time on the wings. We've got 6 players who play their best football when playing centrally, behind a striker!

I really want to see the recruitment team identify a position and profile of player, and simply go out and get someone suited to that role. Not someone who can play 3/4 positions and isn't sure where they are best. We have too many of those already.
