I would never own 3 dog breeds after working as a trainer – an ‘evil’ type is out for blood & a ‘meat missile’ to avoid
DOGS may be man’s best friend but there are certain breeds that you might want to avoid.
A professional trainer revealed the three kinds of canines she would never own.
In her video, Jess (@zoeytheteacupdane) explained how she picked the no-go pets.
For her first breed, she advised her followers against bringing a Shih Tzu into their homes.
“Most people ask, ‘Why? They’re so small and fluffy and cute,'” the TikToker said.
“They’re evil, they want blood, and that’s it.”
Jess explained that the Shih Tzus were originally bred for protection, making them more inclined to be aggressive.
“Shih Tzus, those little fluffy guys with the little cute tails, they were bred to kill,” she told her viewers.
She also recommended avoiding the Belgian Malinois breed as a house pet.
“They are not a dog, they are a machine, they are a meat missile,” Jess said.
“There’s a reason why the military and the police use them, they’re not a family dog, they’re not a house dog.”
Jess joked that you would need “47 hours in a day” to train the breed.
Finally, she named “any kind of doodle” as her final pick for a no-go canine.
“It doesn’t matter what it is, I don’t want anything to do with a doodle,” she said.
“Behavioral issues come with most doodles and now we’re just mixing stupid things with poodles to make new kinds of doodles.”
Jess clarified that she wasn’t painting all doodles with the same brush and even added that she has worked with plenty of well-behaved mixes.
“I’m not saying they’re all bad, I have met nice doodles but a majority of the behavioral issue dogs that we see are doodles,” she explained.
Her followers shared their thoughts on the advice in the comments section.
“I have a Malinois and compete in a ton of sports, I still question my sanity,” wrote one viewer.
“My Shih Tzu was the sweetest pup ever. My doodle, on the other hand, loves us, but he definitely is not the brightest bulb,” said another TikTok user.
“I won the Shih Tzu lottery. Took one in about five years ago and he’s chill,” commented a third person.
