Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer reveals intense work schedule that goes into popular show – as he teases future plans
WHEELER DEALERS’ Mike Brewer has revealed his intense work schedule but admitted that he absolutely loves it.
Detailing the hard work that goes into the popular show, the star also teased his future plans on social media.
He tweeted on Wednesday: “After years of fixing up cars on television, I’ve never been prouder of the work.
“We are doing at One Automotive in Warwick. We have developed a Van system that is the best in the business.”
Later that afternoon, the Wheeler Dealers star revealed the shocking rhythm of his routine.
He wrote: “I work 15 hour days seven days a week. I love it.”
The Tweets amassed more than 20,000 views, with users commending the star for the hard work.
One person wrote: “We don’t really appreciate how hard your jobs are, we only see the glossy bits.”
Another added: “Always keep going as soon as you stop it’s over.”
PRIZED POSSESSION
It comes after Mike revealed he is selling a legendary vintage Ford Transit as he launched his new line of vans.
In his latest Instagram video, the 1974 van could be spotted in the background as he showcased a few modern Ford motors.
Mike revealed he is one of the owners of the vintage Ford van, together with the German Fire Brigade, and will sell it for £50,000.
And anyone interested just has to drop him a message.
Pointing to the light-coloured vehicle, he said: “It’s been used as the Wheeler Dealer shop, it drives like a Swiss watch, it’s beautiful.
“[It’s] 11,000 miles from new and guess what? I’ve decided to sell it.”
Mike admitted he did not want to sell the van at first, but explained why he changed his mind.
He said: “I’ll be honest with you, I don’t wanna sell it because it’s been so handy to use as the Wheeler Dealer shop and it’s been around with us now for a couple of years.
“But as you can see, we own a van centre. And I know it’s a nice thing to have, but we need space to put vehicles in to [be able to] sell vehicles.”
BRAND NEW VANS
Mike has recently showcased his new range of Ford Vans.
“They are exceptional. These transits, we have been developing these ourselves,” he said.
Developed by Mike and his team, the vans got original wheels, roof bars, front splitter and bigger grills.
With “loads more in stock”, Mike said there are three models.

The more basic motors cost around £25,990, as seen in the price tags in the video.
The Adventurer, a more premium model, is priced around £44,000.
And the Explorer, which comes with a tent on the roof, is priced at £52,950.
Showcasing the vans, Mike said: “We got the Adventurer. This has got the blue accents on it which sets it aside from all the others.
“And we got the Explorer, which comes with a roof rack, it’s got a tent on the roof. We have a seating system that slides forward and backwards so you can use it as a a van or a leisure vehicle.
“It means that they’re so much more utilitarian, you can use them for all kinds of things. And they just look cool as well.”
Mike’s followers on Instagram went wild after seeing the super motors.
One user commented: “Love the old school look.”
Another added: “Gorgeous vans.”
A third one shared their will to get one, writing “Mate, if I had the funds”, followed by a smiling face with heart-eyes emoji.

Not only does he has a knack of picking up affordable motors and flipping them for a profit, Mike Brewer also know how to pick the good ones for himself. Here are some motors in the star's car collection:
- Porsche Passion: The bulk of Mike’s collection is made up of Porsche models from across some of the brand’s most popular decades. Models represented include a 912 E (a four-cylinder version of the iconic 911), which is one of just 2,099, and a 928. He also owns a 1982 Porsche SC, which he took on himself as a resto-mod project.
- Ford Transit: Back on the internal combustion side of things, Mike is the proud owner of a MkI Ford Transit van. His 1974 model was formerly used by the German fire service, before being converted to right-hand drive and only had 10,000 miles on the clock when Mike picked it up.
- Mini Cooper S: One of the greatest icons of British Motoring history, the Mini Cooper firmly secured cult status during the 1960s. This was no doubt helped by its starring role in The Italian Job, ferrying Michael Caine and Co around at the climax of the 1969 heist flick. Mike’s is one of the original run of the model, which lasted from 1961 to 1971.
- MG MGA: Mike snapped up his “beautiful” 1959 MG sportster around the time of the show’s very first series. He recalled looking around a California workshop as the team scouted for locations and chatting with the building’s owner. The man apparently revealed that he had won the car in a charity raffle back in 1974 before leaving it in a garage for 20 years.
- Land Rover 110 Defender: The Land Rover was actually gifted to Mike by a friend of his and was in a bit of a sorry state. Mike and Jonny joked that the car had “cellulite” and looked like “an ostrich has been pecking it” thanks to all the dents and dings on the bodywork.
- Ford Fiesta [MISSING]: Sadly, there is a gaping hole in Mike’s collection, after his beloved Ford Fiesta was stolen in June 2023. He and his Wheeler Dealers co-star Marc Priestley had specially restored the car for around £11,200 before it was cruelly pinched. Mike has even offered a £5,000 reward for anyone who can get it back. However, he shared an agonizing update on the case with fans in February 2024 and gave some more details on how the crime unfolded.
