Sons of six former Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers are set to contest in the state's Legislative Assembly elections. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of former CM Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, will contest from Pulivendula. Nara Lokesh, son of TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, will run in Mangalagiri. Tollywood actor N Balakrishna, son of NTR, will contest from Hindupur. Other candidates include N Manohar, N Ramkumar Reddy, and K Surya Prakash Reddy, sons of former CMs N Bhaskar Rao, N Janardhan Reddy, and K Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy respectively.
