Passenger totals rise again

The Office of Rail and Road has revealed that 417 million passenger journeys were made on National Rail during the last three months of 2023, which was an increase of 20 per cent when compared with the same quarter a year earlier. Revenue was also up, from �2.2 billion in the last quarter of 2022 to �2.6 billion in the same quarter last year.
