Kroger trailer catches fire in North Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A Kroger trailer that caught fire in North Portland caused smoke to billow into the sky Thursday morning, according to Portland Fire & Rescue.

The cause remains unclear, but fire officials did confirm that the trailer had not been connected to a tractor when it caught fire at 4900 N Basin Avenue.

"The trailer is a total loss, but no other damages nor any injuries reported," PF&R said.
