Trump in full 'find out territory' as he considers 'selling a crime scene': legal expert
If Donald Trump finds himself so desperate that he considers parting with his cherished Mar-a-Lago estate to pay off the $464 fraud bond due on Monday, it would have him selling a "crime scene," as former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner explained in his recent YouTube episode of "Justice Matters."
"Donald Trump is now squarely in 'find out' territory... If he unloads Mar-a-Lago, you realize he's actually selling a crime scene," he said. "He is selling the scene of his crimes of unlawfully retaining classified documents of obstructing justice, of violating our nation's espionage laws."
Before the three-month bench trial began in Lower Manhattan back in October, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron determined that Trump had knowingly overvalued his real estate portfolio, including his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, his penthouse apartment in Midtown Manhattan's Trump Tower, and various office buildings and golf courses.
But Kirschner is pointing to the fact that Trump had relocated from the White House to Palm Beach, Florida after ceding the presidency to President Joe Biden — and he took with him stacks of boxes full of classified documents which he stashed at his resort.

Added to this, Mar-a-Lago was where Trump allegedly obstructed government efforts to retrieve its top-secret documents, which allegedly include secrets related to nuclear weapons programs.
So, by Kirschner's calculus, Mar-a-Lago is forever stained as Trump's classified document stash house.
He said, "financially Donald Trump's world is imploding" and that if he can't pay up he literally might have to forfeit Mar-a-Lago which he repeated would actually be "selling a crime scene".
"You know the defendant may be permitted to sell a crime scene to satisfy a massive business fraud money judgment that's been entered against him," he said. "Only in America, friends."
