Pay It Forward: Woman pays it forward to future daughter-in-law
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Every month, KLFY News Ten and Bob Giles with Giles Automotive spotlight local residents who pay it forward. This month, we met a local woman who pays it forward to her future daughter-in-law.
Sherissa Thompson had heard of Pay It Forward before and knew what we were going to ask of her. She thought of Arnesha Savoy. "She's at work. She has three kids. She actually just started working and I'm sure this would be a help for her."
Sherissa said Arnesha is engaged to her son. We surprised Arnesha where she works.
Bob Giles explained, "I have an envelope here with some money in it so I'm going to pay it forward to Sharissa and she's going to pay it forward to you."
"Thank you," exclaimed Arnesha. "I am very surprised. Wow. Thank y'all. Wow."
Bob asked, "What are you going to do with $1,000?"
Arnesha replied, "Nine times out of 10, help her (Sherissa) out and my children."
