KATE Middleton has revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing abdominal surgery.

The Princess of Wales, 42, made the announcement in an emotional video message released on Friday evening.

Kate went on to reveal that she will return to her royal duties once she has been given the all-clear.

The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson explained that Kate waited until the last day of school to make the announcement so the family could “huddle together for the next couple of weeks away from all the drama.”
