‘It smells lush’ shoppers say as they race to Home Bargains to snap up £3 dupe for Lancôme’s £92 cult perfume
HANDS up if you’re a fan of luxury perfume but not the hefty price tag that goes with it.
Well, you’re in luck…that’s because beauty fans have been going wild for a body mist from Home Bargains that they claim is a dupe for Lancôme’s popular La Vie Est Belle perfume.
But there’s one major difference – the cost.
Instead of forking out £92 for the real deal, the bargain replica costs just £3, meaning you can save yourself a whopping £89 by opting for the cheaper alternative.
One delighted customer named Megan Woodhouse rushed online to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and posted a snap of the ‘Tu Est Belle’ designer fragrance which claims to be “silky soft on your skin.”
Alongside the post, she penned: “This £3 body mist smells like Lancôme’s £92 La Vie Est Belle perfume. Home Bargains.”
The product description reads: “A delicate and demure scent with iris, jasmine and patchouli.”
The post has since garnered a whopping 524 likes and over 275 comments, with many quick to offer their verdict on the replica scent.
“For the price, you can’t complain. I have it smells lush. Just keep topping it up,” advised one.
A second penned: “It smells lovely!”
A third commented: “They have a set with a small perfume and a tin body spray for £4. It smells exactly like it.”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “I have it and love it.”
Elsewhere, others told how they were fans of the designer fragrances Xalien version, which is a £3 dupe for Mugler’s Alien Eau de Parfum, which costs £65.
“Alien Mugler. Really nice!” enthused one social media.
Another wrote: “I got the Alien one and it’s unreal!”
But Home Bargains isn’t the only shop sending people into meltdown in recent weeks, as Aldi are also flogging popular perfume dupes, which are all £5.99 each.
Amongst them include ‘Perfect Pink’ which is a dupe for £137 ‘Miss Dior,’ Empress which is a replica for £97 Olympia and Devotion, beauty fans say bears striking similarities to Dior J’Adore, which will set you back a whopping £137.
