Love Island fans ‘work out’ show star is ‘in talks for The Traitors series 3’ after he accidentally drops massive clue
LOVE Island fans are convinced that Scott van-der-Sluis is “in talks” to appear on the next series of The Traitors.
It comes after former series eight Islander Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 29, took part on the most recent US series – alongside boxer Deontay Wilder and former MP John Bercow.
Now eagle-eyed fans think Scott – who appeared on three different versions of Love Island in under three months – has hinted that he’s set to star on the challenge show.
Scott, 23, has jetted to California and taken to social media to share snaps of his travels.
But fans were quick to speculate that Scott is meeting with streaming service Peacock, who make the US version of Traitors and Love Island Games.
One follower wrote: “Probably trying out for Traitors 3, thy started making contact with reality TV stars in Jan to start shooting in Aug/Sept.”
A second posted: “To be honest I’d love to see more Love Island cast members on Traitors.”
“I think they approached a lot of people and are holding meetings, no one is confirmed just yet.”
While another seemed adamant when they were asked why Scott was in Los Angeles and revealed: “Scott and Mitch [Taylor] had some meetings with Peacock.”
Scott revealed that he nearly made it onto his fourth Love Island series – but said he was snubbed by All Stars.
During an Instagram Q&A, one fan asked: “Do you have any history with any of them in there [All Stars]?”
Scott replied: “No, none of them in there.”
Taking a cheeky swipe at why he didn’t get the call back, he added: “This is Ex On The Beach, that’s why I’m not in there.”
