Hardik Pandya Gets Chappals Thrown at Him by Angry Fans Amid Mumbai Indians Captaincy Controversy | WATCH
Hyderabad: Looks like the MI captaincy saga featuring Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma has peaked. On Wednesday, when Hardik won the toss, clips of fans throwing chappals outside the stadium on the MI captain is doing the rounds on social space. The hatred for Hardik is growing for no fault of his. He was appointed the MI captain after Rohit Sharma stepped down from the position. Fans of Rohit feel Rohit was reluctant and did not want to give up captaincy, but all of this cannot be confirmed as there is nothing official on it. It is shocking to see fans doing such nuisance and then proudly sharing the clips on social space.

“Looks like a good track, we were solid in the last game. Didn’t plan properly, that cost us the game. 13 games to go, we need to keep doing the right things. We are positive and looking forward to the challenge. Just trying to spend time with all the players. Getting to know them better. One change, Luke misses out, Maphaka comes in,” Hardik said at the toss.
