Hoops fans immediately ripped Ice Cube's $5 million offer for Caitlin Clark to join the BIG3

Ice Cube had the internet in a frenzy Wednesday after news leaked that he and his colleagues at the BIG3 offered Caitlin Clark a historic $5 million to play for their league. The news comes on the heels of Clark’s inevitable transition to the WNBA and amid a fury of organizations all wanting to be associated with her. Cube took to X (Formerly Twitter) to explain that he wanted to offer Clark a place to play in the WNBA’s offseason that essentially was pro women and here in the United States.

However, for a number of reasons, including the WNBA’s schedule, it’s highly unlikely Clark would accept the offer.

That didn’t stop hoops fans from ripping the gesture.
