Akash Ambani Has LONG Chat With Hardik Pandya After SRH Beat MI in IPL 2024 Match | WATCH VIDEO

Hyderabad: Mumbai Indians owner Akash Ambani, who was at the Uppal stadium on Wednesday for the IPL match, was seemingly disturbed after his team’s poor show against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The SRH side bat MI by 36 runs in a match where records tumbled. Following the embarrassing loss, Akash decided to have a word with Hardik Pandya. The two, near the boundary ropes had a chat where Akash looked serious throughout. After the chat, Hardik ran inside the dressing-room.

Hardik was trolled following the loss. The MI captains scored 24 off 20 balls in a match where most scored at a strike rate in excess of 200.

“Wicket was good, 277 no matter how bad or good you bowl, if the opposition has to score that much, they have batted well. They (the bowlers) were good, it was tough out there, almost 500 runs were scored and the wicket was helping the batters, we could have done a few things here and there, but having said that, we have a young bowling attack and we will learn,” said Pandya at the post-match presentation.

Asked to bat first, SRH posted a mammoth 277/3 – highest in the history of Indian Premier League. They surpassed Royal Challengers Bangalore’s 263/5 against Pune Warriors India in 2013.

In reply, Mumbai Indians stayed in the chase till the 18th over before managing 246/5 in 20 overs to lose their second match on the trot in the ongoing edition. It was also the first time, 500 runs were scored in a game.
