Met a guy at NCA few weeks ago. He came with a slight niggle. Completely focused on his recovery and with great discipline working on his skills. And I was not wrong to tell that to one of the coaches there ‘He is a changed guy’

Earlier, Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant had opted to bowl first against RR. So far, all eight matches in the tournament have been won by home teams. The match is also the 100th IPL outing for skipper Rishabh Pant for Delhi Capitals, a side he’s been a part of since 2016, making him the first player from the franchise to reach this landmark in the IPL.
On March 23, Pant made a return to competitive cricket action after a 14-month layoff due to injuries suffered in a car accident in December 2022 via DC’s tournament opener against Punjab Kings at Mullanpur near Mohali, which the side lost by four wickets.

Suryakumar is currently out of action due to injuries he recently failed to pass a fitness test and did not get the clearance from National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
Suryakumar, 33, has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury during the tour of South Africa in December 2023. The Mumbai Indians batter went to Munich, Germany for surgery in January.
