I like the guy going forward, but wow he’s shocking as a defender. I lost count of the number of times today he just stood and watched Chair pick out crosses into our box.
I felt sure Rowett would have him for it at h-t and he’d get closer to him 2nd half.
The only time he did was when he dived in unnecessarily and gave the free kick away for the 1st goal. What the hell is wrong with just getting close enough to stop crosses without diving in?
It’s about as basic as it gets for a defender
