Spanish, Italian restaurant set to open in Amsterdam
Annie D’s Grill is getting ready to open its doors in Amsterdam. Owner D’Andre Jones said the restaurant’s projected opening date was Thursday, March 28.
Ted’s Fish Fry opening new location in Ballston Spa
Ted’s Fish Fry is opening a new location Ballston Spa. The eatery will be located in the former Pizza Hut building at 2103 Doubleday Avenue.
Capital Region breweries take home NYS Craft Beer Competition awards
The winners of the eighth annual New York State Craft Beer Competition were announced on March 22 at the Albany Capital Center. Ninety-six awards were presented with some Capital Region breweries taking home the gold, silver or bronze.

Spindle City Pizza, located at 84 Ontario Street in Cohoes, is closing its doors. The pizzeria’s last day will be March 30.
French/Belgian bakery coming to Dutchess County
A new lactose-free French and Belgian-style bakery is coming to Dutchess County. Tarts and Bread is set to open two locations in Amenia and Rhinebeck.
