“Spending 24 hours in A&E was more than an eye opening experience.
“The pure abuse and overrun conditions that our health workers have to endure was painful to watch.
“The lack of appreciation that was showed by some people within my time there was very difficult to watch.
“If I was well enough, I’d definitely have had a thing or two to say to some of the people who were really taking advantage of the already overstretched and underfunded system that these poor people are trying their best to maintain.”
Last night, Cheryl thanked the medical staff admitted she was left in “agony”.
Detailing her scary encounter, a clearly shaken Cheryl continued: “I’ve seen things in the last 24 hours that I cannot unsee.
“I’ve been in complete agony.”
Cheryl quickly affirmed that things were on the up however amid her health ordeal as she said: “I’ve been made a million times better by the angels that are all of the NHS staff.
“I wanna thank [the NHS] big time, when people say they don’t get paid enough – they don’t get paid enough!”
Cheryl’s hospital dash left her reflecting on the state of the NHS as she insisted it had “gone to pot, it’s shot” in the short video clip.
Although the EastEnders fan favourite did not divulge why she was in hospital, she received a slew of supportive messages from her fans amid the trying time.
One emotionally penned to the star: “So sorry x hope you’re feeling better x look after yourself x rest !!!! And hope you don’t have to go through that again”
Another wrote: “Get well soon and thank goodness that the NHS is still battling on despite all that it’s going through.”
A third sweetly said: “Omg hope you ok now. Sending hugs.”
Before a fourth added: “Oh no Cheryl so sorry to hear that hope you feeling better soon.”
It comes as the star was left pleading with her fans for answers after having her blue tick verification stripped from her on X – formerly Twitter.
The platform deleted the icon from accounts across the platform after users refused to pay the fee.
However, Cheryl only recently noticed her was missing as she begged: “Can anyone explain why my verification tick has gone / been taken away ? Haven’t done anything wrong on this platform?”
