The Nation's Weather
The Nation's Weather for Thursday, April 4, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain and snow showers will linger across much of the
Northeast, Great Lakes and mid-Atlantic as a storm
strengthens off the coast tomorrow. Snow will be heavy at
times in northern New England, and gusty winds can lead to
power outages and travel disruptions. Some snow showers in
Ohio and Pennsylvania can be heavy enough to cause reduced
visibility at times, although snow accumulations are
unlikely. On the other side of the nation, the next storm
will begin to move into the West, spreading rain and snow
showers across the Northwest and California. There can be a
rumble of thunder along the coast in California and Oregon.
A zone of high pressure will span the Southwest and central
portions of the country, promoting dry and mild conditions
with plenty of sunshine.
