One dead, another injured in Princetown crash
PRINCETOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady County Sheriff's Office announced that one person died in a serious two-car crash in Princetown on Wednesday morning. The crash occurred around 9:05 a.m. on Mariaville Road near Weast Road.
The preliminary investigation determined that one of the two cars involved caught on fire following the collision. The driver of the burned car was found dead in their seat by officers arriving to the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Albany Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries. Both cars were only occupied by their respective drivers at the time of the crash. Police stated that the names of those involved are not being released at this time.
