Heavy rains kill 8 people, injure 12 in northwestern Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Officials said on March 30, that heavy rains killed eight people, mostly children, and injured 12 in northwestern Pakistan.

Anwar Shahzad, spokesperson for the local disaster management authority, said extreme downpours in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province caused rooms to collapse, crushing the people inside.
