THE brother of one of the Brits killed delivering aid in Gaza told of his grief and anger last night.

He spoke after ex-Royal Marine James Henderson, 33, died alongside six others when an Israeli drone fired on their convoy.

He did not want to give his name, but said: “I feel this is inexcusable behaviour, to kill my brother and his colleagues on a humanitarian mission.”

He also criticised the British official response, saying: “I don’t believe our government will hold the correct people to account.

“But I guarantee our government will sell weapons to Israel, which may in turn be used to kill our fellow citizens. It’s hard to comprehend that.”

James, of Falmouth, Cornwall, died alongside fellow ex-servicemen John Chapman, 57, from Poole, Dorset, and James Kirby, 47, of Bristol.

An Australian, a Polish national, an American-Canadian citizen and a Palestinian driver were also killed in Monday night’s attack.

PM Rishi Sunak has told his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu that he is appalled by the deaths, but has resisted growing calls to stop the sale of military hardware.

More than 600 judges say the UK must halt arms sales by law because of the “plausible risk of genocide”.

Israeli officials said an investigation will be completed “in the next few days”.
