Nothing to do with the own goals accusations and I know Keane generally plays okay until he eventually falls off a cliff after something goes wrong but my biggest worry with the team this year is what happens if Branthwaite/Tarkowski are unavailable to play.

I'd consider:
Pickford
Tarkowski Keane Godfrey
Garner Doucoure Gana Mykolenko
Danjuma* Beto** McNeil*Harrison due to fitness I guess.

I think Keane always looks better in a back 3 and at least there's a couple of players to cover for
Godfrey if he gets exposed out of position.

Garner has a decent engine and I guess can lump in a cross. Mostly I don't want Young in the team.

Doucoure can be changed for Onana but I don't think Dyche will play the latter much now.

It also allows for a 442 in periods during the match and lets McNeil roam into the CM area at times.

Could also put Mykolenko in Godfrey's place and put Young at LWB but I don't want to do that.


Doubt anything like this will happen like.
