Man in 20s hospitalized after shooting in Hartford

Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Hartford on Monday morning.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Franklin Avenue around 11:36 a.m. on a report of a gunshot victim, according to the Hartford Police Department.

Arriving officers located a man in his 20s suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crimes Scene Divisions are conducting the ongoing investigation, according to police.
