I was living paycheck to paycheck but now go out for brunch every day…I make £6k a week, work 2 hours a day & here’s how
A WOMAN has revealed that she was living paycheck to paycheck but now makes almost £6,000 a week.
Megan Roberts explained that she was fed up of feeling stressed about money, but now only has to work a couple of hours a day, despite earning thousands of pounds a week.
As a result, Megan spends her days with her children and is able to go out for brunch every day.
Posting on social media, Megan gave her followers an insight into how she earns cash online.
So if you’re looking to earn some extra cash but aren’t sure where to start, you’ll need to listen up and take notes.
Megan revealed that she makes her fortune thanks to digital products – any product that is created, distributed, and consumed in an electronic format.
Digital products refer to digital files that buyers can purchase and download instantly, such as printable art, digital planners, e-books, stock photos, and more.
As Megan opened up about the side hustle that has transformed her life, she revealed: “Towards the end of last year I started something which caused a HUGE change for my family financially…
“I had been watching a woman on Instagram earning money online with digital products and decided I wanted to learn how too.”
Megan revealed that she had tried a variety of different side hustles in the past, including completing online surveys, affiliate marketing, as well as flogging her old stuff on Vinted, but with varying success.
As a result, she explained that she was ‘so intrigued’ by digital products, so invested into a digital marketing course so that she could learn more.
She revealed that she wasn’t sure what to expect, but was stunned when she checked her income after just a week.
She claimed: “I made over £2,000 in my first week and realised this was going to be a game changer for my family.”
She then added: “Fast forward to now, I’ve earned over my old yearly wage in four months.”
Megan revealed that as a result of her online earnings, she no longer feels ‘stressed about money’, as she claimed: “This might sound crazy but I’ve earned almost £6,000 in the last seven days as a stay at home mum from my side hustle…”
As a result of her online earnings, Megan is now about to fit her schedule around her children, ensuring she gets the ‘best of both worlds’ as a stay-at-home mother, whilst earning an income.
She explained that she now gets to spend her days with her children, and can often be found at role play or soft play.
As well as this, she is ‘out for brunch every day’, whilst earning passive income.

She claimed that digital products are the ‘best way to earn money online’, as she said there is ‘no recruiting’ or ‘packing or posting’.
Not only this, but she only spends ‘a couple of hours’ a day on her marketing, and then sees the sales flowing in for the rest of the day.
Do I need to pay tax on my side hustle income?
MANY people feeling strapped for cash are boosting their bank balance with a side hustle.
The good news is, there are plenty of simple ways to earn some additional income – but you need to know the rules.
When you’re employed the company you work for takes the tax from your earnings and pays HMRC so you don’t have to.
But anyone earning extra cash, for example from selling things online or dog walking, may have to do it themselves.
Stephen Moor, head of employment at law firm Ashfords, said: “Caution should be taken if you’re earning an additional income, as this is likely to be taxable.
“The side hustle could be treated as taxable trading income, which can include providing services or selling products.”
You can make profit of up to £1,000 a year tax-free via the trading allowance, but over this and you’ll usually need to pay tax.
Stephen added: “You need to register for a self-assessment at HMRC to ensure you are paying the correct amount of tax.
“The applicable tax bands and the amount of tax you need to pay will depend on your income.”
If you fail to file a tax return you could end up with a surprise bill from HMRC later on asking you to pay the tax you owe – plus extra fees on top.
Megan claimed that selling digital products has ‘changed everything’ for her and now wants to ‘inspire’ other women to get involved with a side hustle too.
