The Mariners travel to Texas to take on the divsion-leading Rangers
The Mariners kept the good vibes rolling from their series sweep against Cincinnati with another series win in Colorado, but now have to face a long, talented Rangers lineup deep in the heart of Texas. The Mariners announced Collin Snider has been reinstated from the 15-day IL (knee contusion) and optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.
Milestone watch:
Mariners starters are on a streak of 10 consecutive outings going five or more innings and allowing two or fewer earned runs. If Logan Gilbert can keep the streak alive tonight, that will establish a new franchise record, breaking the tie between the current streak and one set between September 4-14 in 2003.
