Congress President M Mallikarjun Kharge has appealed to the people of his home district of Kalaburagi to attend his funeral if they believe he worked for them, even if they don't wish to vote for the party candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Kharge, who won the Lok Sabha elections in 2009 and 2014 but lost in 2019, said he would continue in politics until his last breath to "defeat" the BJP and RSS ideology.
