UK Prime Minister Sunak pledges 2.5 percent GDP military spending to place economy on a “war footing”

Speaking in front of an armoured vehicle and alongside NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Warsaw, Poland, Sunak said the increase in military spending “is a turning point for European security and a landmark moment in the defence of the United Kingdom.”
