Boeing reports net loss, revenue decrease in first quarter

SAN FRANCISCO, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The Boeing Company on Wednesday reported first-quarter revenue of 16.57 billion U.S. dollars, a 8 percent decrease from the same period of 2023.

The company recorded a quarterly net loss of 355 million dollars with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) loss per share of 0.56 dollars and core loss per share (non-GAAP) of 1.13 dollars.

It also recorded an op
