Parliament endorses EU emergency team to combat the entry of crop-damaging pests

On Wednesday (24 April), the European Parliament voted in favour of an amendment to the Plant Health Regulation, providing for the establishment of a European emergency team to prevent and contain the arrival of crop-damaging pests.
