Magnitude 6.5 earthquake strikes off Indonesia's Java island

JAKARTA: A magnitude-6.5 earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia’s Java island on Saturday, the country’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) reported.
