And don’t worry, there’s barely any faff or cash involved. 

26-year-old Celene, a single mother who lives in a two-bedroom council house in Rotherham, took to social media to share her “vacuum hack”, leaving many very impressed.

The cleaning fan shared her clip with the caption ‘Do you do this?’

In the short video, we saw the savvy woman reveal her quick and easy trick – which involves using cotton wool balls and essential oils. 

For Celene’s hack, she simply applied a few drops of essential oil onto a couple of cotton wool balls, which she then put into her vacuum tank.

For this, Celene used the Library of Scent pomegranate aroma oil, which she bought from M&S, but you can use any brand or scent of essential oils that you desire.

Seconds later, we then saw Celene, who has renovated and is hoping to buy her council property, hoovering her bedroom floor.

Beaming at the simple hack, the DIY enthusiast claimed: “It keeps your hoover smelling fresh and leaves a lovely scent behind when you vacuum.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @61thecouncilhouse, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 31,900 views.
