The Sorry hitmaker left fans concerned with the sudden burst of emotion, leaving them speculating about the reason behind the tears.
Some of his fans went into panic as the star offered no explanation for the teary selfies.
However, a source claimed the singer wanted to share a “vulnerable” moment after “diving into his faith”.
They told the Daily Mail that the tears were all about “his love of Jesus“.
