In April, over 100 temperature records were broken in Vietnam amid a deadly heatwave engulfing South and Southeast Asia. The extreme heatwave, fueled by human-induced climate change, has caused heatstroke deaths, school closures, and drought conditions, with experts attributing the intensity to the El Nino effect.
