Minneapolis teachers’ union praises “historic” tentative agreement despite Minneapolis Public Schools demands to gut school funding

After nine months without a contract, the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers announced a “historic” contract for teachers at the same time MPS officials have stated that they will need to cut $110 million, and that “everything is on the table.”
